Our family started the agritourism business in July 1999, using some old stables, some old barns and other outbuildings that were once used for the preparation of cheese by our grandparents.
The company is located at 530 m. above sea level, on the slopes of Monte Baldo, the so-called “Botanical Garden of Europe”, in the municipality of Caprino Veronese, 15 km from Lake Garda and 30 km from Verona.
The area we use extends for 12 hectares, part intended for meadow and livestock breeding, part for vegetable garden and 4 hectares for woodland. We are thus able to support the agritourism activity with the in-house production of cured meats and vegetables in oil and vinegar which are greatly appreciated both by those staying at our facility and by those looking for a snack after a nice walk in the mountains, even just to taste the excellent tarts and focaccias that we prepare.
The building was built starting in the early nineteenth century and finished in 1940. The materials used for construction were all recovered from the surrounding area.
The recent renovation was carried out while safeguarding all the original characteristics of the building. At the same time we have created spaces and six rooms all equipped with bathroom and shower which offer guests the sense of warmth and welcome that a real home has.
